UFH systems.

Integral UFH Underfloor Heating Systems

  • Screeded System

Our PE-RT and MLCP pipe are both suitable for screeded applications, where the pipes would be fixed into a rigid insulation board using our plastic pipe staples. Following this, a liquid or sand & cement screed would be laid over the top, encapsulating the pipes. A minimum of 65mm sand & cement screed, or 50mm flow screed is recommended over underfloor heating pipes.

  • Floating Floor Dry System

For when laying a screed above UFH isn’t an option, Integral UFH’s grooved overlay board is a great solution. We offer both types of board, one being a polystyrene board which requires a 12-18mm hardboard over the top before a floor finish is laid and the other being an XPS board which is able to accept hard floor finishes directly above. Both varieties of our board are able to be laid on to timber or concrete slabs.

  • Aluminium Plate System

Sometimes ceiling heights are a problem. That’s where our aluminium plate system is the perfect solution. The pre-grooved plates are fitted on to the joists, with the UFH pipe laying flush with the joists as it sits between them. This system offers a build up of just 3-4mm (the thickness of the aluminium plate).

Integral UFH Pipe

  • Integral UFH 16mm PE-RT Pipe

Multi-layer oxygen diffusion barrier pipe, using PE-RT as the inner and outer layers. Maximum operating pressure 10 bar; maximum operating temperature 90 degrees celsius.

    • Suitable up to temperatures of 90 degrees celsius

    • Flexible and install friendly

    • PE-RT inner and outer layer and an EVOH intermediate layer

    • Adhesive layer permanently bonding the inner PE-RT layer to the aluminium core

    • Inner layer of clear, smooth PE-RT preventing pressure drops from water flow, and preventing deposit accumulation and corrosion

  • Integral UFH MLCP 16mm Pipe

Multilayer composite pipe with an aluminium barrier (PERT-AL-PERT). Specifically manufactured for use in low-temperature heating applications.

Can be formed by hand, maintains its shape and is suitable for general use in underfloor and low-temperature heating applications. Maximum temperature 70 degrees celsius and maximum pressure 10 bar.

  • Integral UFH 20mm Pipe

For commercial projects, such as schools, sometimes a 20mm pipe is required instead of the standard 16mm, depending on heat losses and flow temperatures.

Integral UFH Manifold

Integral UFH distribution manifolds are made from an AISI 304 stainless steel bar. The manifolds are assembled internally with automatic machineries and 100% tested before leaving the factory.

The threads of main connections are made in compliance with ISO228. The secondary circuits are connected through fittings with 3/4“ Eurocone thread assembled on the manifold with o-ring seal and glued to avoid any unscrewing should the compression fitting be dissassembled.

All the fittings and accessories of the manifold are equipped with a soft seal o-ring sealing and do not require any intermediate sealing element.

Manifolds are equipped with shut-off and balancing valves, with regulators, flow meters and give the possibility of an immediate verification of the system balancing by reading the flow rate. The flow meters also allow the adjustment and balancing of the individual outlets with memory of position in the event of temporary closure for maintenance operations, the adjustment can be blocked through a block cap. The glass and measuring spring can be disassembled and cleaned while the system is operating.
